The Barbados Police Service is currently investigating a shooting incident at Bournes Land, St. Christopher, Christ Church. It has been reported that one man sustained injuries from the incident.

Time of incident: Monday 23 October 2023 around 8:40 p.m.
Location of incident: Bournes Land, St. Christopher, Christ Church
Incident: A number of people were sitting next to a shop in the area when a man approached them from behind and fired several shots. He then ran in the direction of St. Christpher Primary School.
Members of the public are reminded that it is a serious offence to harbour or assist persons of interest. Those caught committing this offence can be prosecuted.
