The “Cool Yuh Head” Jingle Competition is a collaborative initiative by Crime Stoppers Barbados’ Cool Yuh Head Programme and Republic Bank (B’dos) Ltd.’s Power to Make a Difference Corporate Social Responsibility Programme.

The Jingle Competition invites students across Barbados to use the creative power of music and songwriting to explore positive approaches to managing anger and resolving conflict. Through rhythm, lyrics, and their own unique voices, young people are encouraged to inspire their peers to pause, reflect, and choose peaceful responses in difficult moments.

This competition celebrates creativity as a tool for change—giving students the platform to turn everyday challenges into powerful messages that promote calm thinking, respect, and healthier ways of dealing with emotions. Entries may be individual or group collaboration.
